Comprehensive Plot Summaries

The Plot Spot provides comprehensive plot summaries for many popular novels. We aim to refresh your memory of a novel or help you decide whether to read a particular novel. But we're no substitute for reading the book itself. We hope that our plot summaries will encourage you to explore new novels and authors that you haven't read before. And if you find our material worthwhile, please take a moment to click on one of the ads to the right. The Plot Spot is a labor of love, not a business. We provide all of our material for free so this will help us keep the lights on.

Below is a listing of some of our most popular titles. A complete listing can be found under the Titles tab at the top of this page.

Help Us Grow...

Although we would love to spend all day reading books and posting our plot summaries, we all have to hold down day jobs. Therefore, we need your help. If you like what we're doing and like the idea of this website, please use the contribute tab at the top of this page to add your own plot summaries to our collection. We'll even name you as the contributor to help show our appreciation.

Can you imagine a world without libraries? On every page of The Plot Spot, you can enjoy images of our favorite libraries from around the world. If you have a photo of your favorite library, please contribute it. We would love to add it to the site. And if you contribute a summary along with your photo, we promise to include your photo on the first page of your plot summary.

The Plot Spot has also joined Barnes & Noble as an affiliate. If one of our summaries excites you about a book, please click through in order to buy the book from them. In fact, we'd love it if you just clicked through from our site whenever you want to buy anything from Barnes & Noble. It doesn't cost you a penny, they're happy to get the business, and it helps us keep the lights on.

More to Come...

The Plot Spot wants to do more than just expand our catalog of book titles over the coming months. We will soon be offering a forum section where you can post comments and join discussions about your favorite books. If there's anything else that you think we should include in this site, please feel free to Contact Us. Our Online Privacy Policy
